The Recovery Institute of Southwest Michigan, Inc.
is a nonprofit organization that was founded in 2006. [They] serve Kalamazoo County by offering peer support to people who have mental health and/or substance use concerns. [They] provide this service in the form of groups, classes, one-on-ones and social outings.
In 2020, 83.9% ($789,042) of their funding came from taxpayers via Integrated Services of Kalamazoo. The Recovery Institute's new location will complement ISK's new Behavioral Health Urgent Care facility, which broke ground in October, downtown at 440 W. Kalamazoo Ave.
